Time to step it up.

So many people and institutions around us right now are numbing out and slowing down. The drudgery of pre-post-capitalist fascism and co-pandemic living has so many humans just mindlessly moving through a world they're too overwhelmed to feel in touch with anymore. Depressing does not begin to describe it.

Still, I'm not ready to throw in the towel. And you're not either.

Instead of giving in, I'm giving you a chance to step it up.

I am radically changing my coaching work to be more challenging and faster paced.

I'm looking for artists and freelancers ready to take on deep, challenging, soul-searching work in the midst of global fascist and existential catastrophes.

Because there is clearly no better time ahead of us for making bold, life-affirming changes that sustain your creativity and resilience.

This work is NOT for the faint of heart! If you are set on comfort, you're not invested in creating change. Period.

I am only taking clients who are willing to commit to changing their lives.

And with that pre-requisite, I'm going to get you more impactful change, even faster.

Your WHOLE LIFE can be easier and more organized BECAUSE you choose to commit more radically to prioritizing your creative practice.

This is what happens for my clients already.

✨ They find more time to rest and spend with family because they commit to spending more time on their craft.

✨ They ditch anxiety because they're willing to be fearless in their work.

✨ They use joy as resistance because they learn to navigate grief.

✨ They make more money and stop scattering energy because they commit to working less, by any means necessary.

✨ They find richer relationships and greater intimacy with others because they become ruthless in how they're willing to care for themselves.

NOW HERE'S THE EXTRA FUN PART: 👇👇👇

In order to offer this more radical container, I'll be cutting my client enrollment significantly and increasing my prices on March 1st to $4,000 for a life-changing 3 month coaching commitment.

BUT my prices are only going up on March 1st, even though this new container is already in place.

This month you can get on my roster for this new, faster-paced and more radical coaching at the current price of $2,500 for 3 months.

Omg, really? Yes, really.

But only during February.

To get one of these spots, hit reply to this email and tell me you're interested! We'll set up a consult to make sure your goals are a good fit for this container and take it from there.

If you've been dragging your feet around work with me—or waiting to start working with me again—consider this the sign to get into gear: Hit reply now. I have very few spots open and you'll have to move like you mean it to get one.

Don't ask yourself whether you're "ready" for this: If you felt 100% ready and confident it wouldn't be a challenge—

Ask yourself where you want to be with your practice or your life—and why you're not there already.

Ask yourself if you're brave enough to experiment with failure in order to find success.

Ask yourself what you gain by waiting to invest in coaching support to get the life you want. And don't be afraid of the answer.

Then hit reply so we can talk.

Love + solidarity,

Sam

P.S. - If you're not sure if this is the right time for you, hit reply and set up a free call with me anyway. Let me coach you on how you can make the best choice for you; it's what I do.

We are infinite creatures in a world of finite resources. Meaning, the limits we face are often a result of everything we force ourselves to carry. This is the real weight of monotony: Forcing ourselves to keep carrying things that don't serve us, just because we haven't allowed ourselves sufficient space to realize we're capable of putting them down. As I continue to rebuild my coaching practice with the goal of making it, and me, as vividly alive as possible, in fierce defiance of the death...

I've taken LOTS of courses on fostering creativity and crafting a "creative lifestyle" (whatever that means) and NOT ONE OF THEM has ever actually created lasting change in my creative practice. Books and programs that focus on practicing creativity, rather than freeing it, don't make for sustainable change. I won't argue that creativity isn't a skill or muscle that benefits from regular use, but the reason we feel blocks around creativity usually isn't because we've been mental couch...

Alex Pretti's public execution last Saturday at the hands of ICE is still hanging heavily in the air for many of us; especially since it follows so closely to Nicole Good's murder and the ongoing forced disappearance of so many immigrant family members and neighbors. It is HARD to find a way forward in our work when things are so unsettled around us and violence becomes more commonplace. And yet--- This world needs your work, your presence, your solidarity. Here's how you keep moving forward....
